The National Engineers’ Council National Engineers Week Honors & Awards Banquet Hosted by the BDB is an annual event recognizing engineers and engineering projects in all engineering disciplines, including aerospace, mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil. In addition to awards ceremonies, engineering companies and educational programs are present to showcase their projects and products, most of them originating in Palm Beach County. This event not only recognizes the individual engineers and educators for their contributions to the industry but also provides an opportunity for those not in the engineering industry to see the types of work being done in the various engineering disciplines right here in Palm Beach County.
In 2011, the Engineers’ Council established an Eastern US Awards Banquet in West Palm Beach to honor and recognize individuals for their contributions to engineering and engineering education in all engineering disciplines. The BDB has hosted this event since 2014.
